While walking the road in Denali National Park, this wolf apparently decided to cross the road.  More than likely, he knew I was there, but I didn’t know he was there.  Even though at the time this happened,there had not been a documented case of a wolf attacking healthy adult human, they do get over a hundred pounds. But even though spooked, I managed to very quickly get this image with a Canon F1 camera and Canon 300mm f2.8 “L” lens on film before we parted company, meaning I just stood there and he ducked back into the underbrush.
