After a fresh snow, and before any one had tromped on them, I found this evidence of a fox searching for a meal on the path over the sand dune leading to our usual walking area on the beach of Lake Superior on Park Point in Duluth.  We always crest this dune with anxious anticipation as the Lake is never the same from day to day.  As you can see, the slush ice has blown in right to the shore this day.
