This image, shortly after sunrise in The Dunes near Stovepipe Wells in Death Valley National Park was made with a Leica M6 camera and 24mm f2.8 ASPH lens on Fuji Velvia film. You have no idea how many people don’t know right off what this is before they look at the title of the picture.
