This view of Mount McKinley was one of the “perks” I experienced flying Alaska Airlines. Under ideal conditions, the pilots would sometimes get permission to divert their path between Anchorage and Fairbanks and “buzz” Mount McKinley. It takes mostly luck but some skill to shoot thru the 3 thicknesses of plastic plane windows and end up with a sharp image like this which I made with a Canon D60 digital camera and Canon 24-70 “L” lens.
